With a longstanding interest in stock market investing, for quite a while my performance was average, marked by sporadic wins and losses. Despite reading up on investment literature, achieving real long-term success remained elusive. The problem was there was simply not enough time to digest and analyse the information from annual reports, current market conditions, economic forecasts, sentiment from brokers and other investors etc.

Working in a financial institution exposed me to automated market signals, sparking the idea for a similar tool for longer-term investors. Crafting an algorithmic suite, I successfully improved my stock selection. Eager to share the benefits, I envisioned a graphical dashboard for investors struggling to discern market nuances, signalling potential changes in a stock’s fortunes.
